The VS-R265 is a 4K/UHD AV over IP streaming encoder and decoder that simultaneously records, encodes, streams, and decodes multiple 4K video streams (3840×2160) using High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), a high efficiency coding scheme that delivers H.264 video quality at half the bit rate.Main Features:4K/UHD AV over IP streaming media encoder and decoder for live video streaming.Simultaneously records, encodes, streams, and decodes multiple 4K video streams.Functions as an external stand-alone YouTube encoder for HD streaming to YouTube and other popular CDNs, including Wowza, Ustream, AWS Elemental MediaLive and CloudFront, etc.Uses High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), a high efficiency coding scheme that delivers H.264 video quality via 4K content at half the bit rate.Versatile audio I/O connections via balanced analog Euroblock low-voltage wire connectors and unbalanced analog 1/8″ (3.5mm) mini-stereo jacks.Perfect for a wide range of 4K live streaming AV installations and environments, including corporate, education, house of worship, government, industrial installations and security.Audio can be embedded from analog sources and de-embedded to drive networked audio playback for ceiling speakers.Provides digital audio embedded within the HDMI I/O.Installed output level configuration function and reference level switching function (up to +20dBu) allows reliable and flexible system structuring.Compatible with popular standard streaming protocols, including HLS, RTMP, RTP/RTSP, Multicast, Unicast.Offers RESTful API for integration into control systems in commercial AV installations.Ability to record directly to USB connected media or SD cards via a front panel loading slot.Recorded files can easily be uploaded to an FTP server automatically for creating back-up copies or repurposing to the web. With the optional rack-mountable shelf AK-RS1, up to two VS-R units can be installed in a 19 inch rack space.Support PoE+ for power supply in addition to the optional AC adapter (TASCAM PS-P1220E; sold separately)Specifications:Video:HDMI IN Connector: HDMI v1.4a (Type A)HDMI OUT Connector: HDMI v2.0 (Type A)Input Resolutions:2160p: 30/ 29.97/ 25 / 24 / 23.98 fps1080p: 60 / 59.94 / 50 / 30 / 29.97 / 25 / 24 / 23.98 fps720p: 60 / 59.94 / 50 fps576p: 50 fps480p: 60 / 59.94 fpsFrame Rate Limit: on/offEncode Scalling Resolutions: Passthru / 3840x2160p / 1920x1080p / 1280x720p / 950x540p / 720x576p / 720x480p / 640x360p / 480x270p / 320x180pEncode Format: H.264 / H.265Encode bitrates: 500k to 30M bpsBitrate Control: Variable / Constantkey frame interval: 0.25-1.00-16.5(sec) or 3-1000(frame)Audio:Analog Audio inputs (UNBALANCED):Connector: 3.5mm Stereo mini jackNominal input level: -10dBV (0.316Vrms)Maximum input level: +6dBV (2.0Vrms)Analog Audio inputs (BALANCED):Connector: Euroblock (balanced) 3.81 mm pitchNominal input level:+4dBu(1.23Vrms, Ref.Level other than -9dBFS)+6dBu(1.55Vrms, Ref.Level -9dBFS)Maximum input level:+15dBu(4.36Vrms, Ref.Level -9dBFS)+18dBu(6.16Vrms, Ref.Level -14dBFS)+20dBu(7.75Vrms, Ref.Level -16dBFS)Analog Audio outputs (UNBALANCED):Connector: 3.5mm Stereo mini jackNominal output level: -10dBV (0.316Vrms)Maximum output level: +6dBV (2.0Vrms)Analog Audio outputs (BALANCED):Connector: Euroblock (balanced) 3.81 mm pitchNominal output level: +4dBu(1.23Vrms)Maximum output level:+15dBu(4.36Vrms, Ref.Level -9dBFS)+18dBu(6.16Vrms, Ref.Level -14dBFS)+20dBu(7.75Vrms, Ref.Level -16dBFS)Output Volume: -, -72 to +6dB (1dB step)Audio Codec: AAC, 64k to 512k bps, 32k/44.1k/48k HzStorage:Storage Media: USB Drive, SD/SDHC cardUSB Connection: USB3.0 A-typeRecord Bit Rates: 500k to 30M bpsStream:Video Transport Protocols: RTMP / RTSP / HLS / Unicast / MulticastSimultaneous Streaming: 1 x RTMP / 2 x Unicast / 1 x MulticastStream Bit Rates: 500k to 30M bpsNetwork:Network Connectivity: 1Gb EthernetFull-featured web browser based UI: Designed for tablets and desktops.
