This 19″ 1U rackmount from Uctronics is designed to hold up to four Raspberry Pi 5 boards and four M.2 NVMe SSDs.

TheNVMe HATs mount underneath each Pi, keeping the GPIO pins free for add-ons such asActive CoolersorHATs. Each drive slotsupports M.2 NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, or 2280 sizesvia a PCIe x1 interface with Gen2/Gen3 speeds.

Power can be supplied either through the Raspberry Pis USB-C port or directly to the NVMe base. LED indicators are included to show M.2 drive activity at a glance.

We also stock a version that holds five Raspberry Pi 5 boards.

Raspberry Pi boards and SSDs not included.

Notes

• This kit exclusively supports M.2 NVMe SSDs and is not compatible with SATA M.2 SSDs, M.2 PCIe AHCI SSDs, or other M.2 non-NVMe devices.
• Please follow the tutorial to burn the image on to your NVMe HAT and enable NVMe to ensure your Raspberry Pi boots from NVMe instead of the SD card or OS
• After discussions in the Raspberry Pi forum, it’s been observed that Raspberry Pi may not boot from WD hard disks, possibly due to the Phison controller equipped with this SSD.

Features

• Supports multiple M.2 NVMe sizes Works with 2230, 2242, and 2280 M-key NVMe drives using PCIe Gen2 or Gen3 protocols
• Compact design NVMe base mounts underneath the Pi, leaving GPIO pins accessible
• Rackmount-ready Fits up to four Raspberry Pi 5 boards and four NVMe SSDs in a standard 19″ 1U rack (not included)
• Drive activity LEDs Each NVMe slot includes an LED indicator for disk activity
• Flexible power options Power can be delivered via the Pis USB-C port or the NVMe base
